Seller’s Information

Prepare for a Successful Sale

Preparing yourself and your home for an upcoming sale can directly affect how easy the process may be. If you, the seller, have not mentally, financially, physically prepared to sell it can slow down and in some cases prevent the house from being sold. By using a seller’s agent, you will have someone who takes responsibility to make sure the transition goes as smoothly as possible. Different people sell for different reasons. Have a goal, set realistic expectations, set a reasonable timeline. A seller’s agent can provide guidance in these areas.

  • What should I Do First?

Decide if selling is the right financial decision for you. Talk with your financial adviser to determine if selling will give you the return needed to move on to the next chapter of your life.

  • Choosing the Right Agent

My primary responsibility as a seller’s agent is to put my clients in a position to get maximum market value on the sale of each individual property. By knowing your goals I can work with you to create a selling strategy to give you the best chance at maximizing your sale.

  • Preparing your home for a sale.

You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Getting potential buyers inside the house is the first step, which is why your curb appeal is so important. Make the exterior  as appealing as possible. Keeping the yard mowed and bushes trimmed is the easiest and most important things to consider. These simple steps show any buyers that your property has been well cared for. A good cleaning and de-cluttering can immediately affect the perception of your home. With proper staging, you can make your home more attractive and inviting to a potential buyer. Make them imagine a life in your home. If you can do that, the odds of receiving  the best offers are increased dramatically!
